ABOUT PUCK EMPIRE

Puck Empire started as a hockey account on Instagram. The arena is its home on the web: one building you scroll through, still awake at 6AM with the banks half lit, and every room in it is a page you can read on its own.

What is in the building

The desk carries the news and the opinion. The scoreboard carries every game, live, with the box score under each row and the same night in past seasons beneath it. The standings, the leader boards, the trade wire, the draft board and the bracket read straight from the league’s own feeds. The reel holds the clips. Deep Cut is a hockey game, one board a day, six questions deep. The booth takes your vote.

How the desk works

Nothing is published without a source. A report that names one wears a VERIFIED mark; a piece that does not is marked PLACEHOLDER until it does. Follower counts are dated. The statistics on the boards are the league’s numbers, refreshed on their own, and a board that cannot reach the league says so rather than guessing. There are no invented quotes, no invented records and no invented sponsors: a dasher board in the arena that has not been sold reads YOUR BRAND HERE.

The people

The account and the desk are run by the Puck Empire team. The arena is designed and built by Dijji Softworks, a creative software studio.
